Chris Owen

GIS Technical Manager

Chris Owen has been working in the field of GIS since 1995. He is currently the Technical Manager for the Pulaski Area Geographic Information System (PAgis). He is responsible for managing the day to day technical operations of the countywide enterpise GIS system. He also provides supervision and direction to the PAgis technical staff. Prior to his promotion as Technical Manager, Chris has also performed duties as a Senior GIS Technician and GIS Technician while working at PAgis.

Before coming to PAgis, Chris served as the GIS Technician / Information Systems Specialist for the City of Little Rock Office of Emergency Services. In this position he was reponsible for managing and updating the E911 Computer Aided Dispatch system, production of data and maps related to disaster preparedness, and other GIS related activities. He also worked as a GIS Technician for the Pulaski County Assessors Office

Mr. Owen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Central Arkansas.
