November 16, 2011  – PAgis hosted an invitation only Stakeholder Meeting in lieu of a public GIS Day Event. The morning session was attended by more than 60 participants from member and partner agencies. The afternoon session was a very constructive meeting with private sector participants from the Realtor, Survey, Engineering and Land Developer industries.  Each session featured updates on PAgis projects, data offerings and future plans as well as application demonstrations.

July 15, 2011 – Navigation Electronics, Inc. has partnered with PAgis for the installation of an all new Trimble NetR9 GNSS Reference Station Receiver. The Trimble NetR9 Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reference receiver series consists of full-feature, top-of-the-line receivers designed to provide network operators with maximum features and functionality from a single receiver platform. Through our collaborative efforts NEI and PAgis intend to provide to the area access to an unparalleled source for high accuracy geo-spatial data collection. The new receiver is fully operational as of August of 2011.

June 22, 2011  – PAgis launches a new online mapping platform. The previous web mapping applications were built with ESRI’s ArcIMS which will be unsupported at the 10.1 release scheduled for summer 2011. PAgis has recreated the existing web applications using ESRI’s ArcGIS Server & the Adobe Flex Application Programming Interface (API). The ArcGIS Server environment will allow for additional applications to be designed to support mobile and web service connections in the future.
