Vince Guillet

PAgis Manager

Vince Guillet has been working in the GIS industry since 1997. He is the GIS manager for Central Arkansas Water (CAW) in the metropolitan area of Little Rock, Arkansas. Also, through Inter-Local Management Agreement with six governmental entities, Vince is the Pulaski Area Geographic Information System (PAgis) Manager. In that role, Vince oversees the maintenance of the PAgis enterprise geodatabase which houses framework GIS map layers for the member agencies. He is also responsible for the management of an enterprise ArcGIS Server system serving four remote sites within Central Arkansas Water.

Prior to his role with CAW and PAgis, Vince served as a GIS Specialist with the Arkansas Geographic Information Office (AGIO). During his tenure with the AGIO, he led the Arkansas Centerline File (ACF) Program, and was instrumental in the transition of GeoStor from research and development to a production system housed at the State of Arkansas 's Department of Information Systems (DIS).

With a degree in Geography and specialization in GIS from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville , Vince brings many years of experience to CAW and PAgis. Vince started his GIS career at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) as a GIS and Remote Sensing Technician. He then served as GIS Coordinator for the Arkansas Soil and Water Conservation Commission (ASWCC) working on projects relating to critical natural resource conservation. After leaving the ASWCC, Vince was a Project Manager with Carter & Burgess, Inc. implementing GIS solutions related to facilities management and capital improvement program management.
